Meet the Team - Orlando Miguel, Software Consultant

As JCM’s Software Coordinator, Orlando closely monitors Zoho’s evolving ecosystem, researching new developments and features, and exploring how they can translate into practical client solutions. They also specialises in marketing training and manages JCM’s Desk service, ensuring support queries are handled thoughtfully and efficiently.

A typical day begins with curiosity. What new puzzles will appear? What patterns need unpicking? For Orlando, problem-solving is energising. They genuinely love learning, and each new challenge is an opportunity to expand their understanding.

Before even starting their position at JCM, Orlando had already completed a deep dive into the Zoho software and skills required; they knew they were born for the role.

As an autistic professional, Orlando brings a distinctive perspective to the team. They see systems, structure and patterns clearly, often spotting connections others might miss. They describe this as a superpower, and alongside their interest in game theory, a branch of applied mathematics, they have sharpened their skills as a natural strategist and problem solver.

Outside of the office, Orlando is learning to play the drums and is currently working towards Grade 5, hoping to join a band in the near future.

Originally from Mexico, Orlando studied English and French at university, specialising in teaching. They often compare learning a new system like Zoho CRM to learning a language; once you understand the grammar and structure, you can begin to use it fluently.

What Orlando values most about JCM is that it’s a small, family-rooted business making a meaningful impact in its community. There’s pride in contributing to something that feels both personal and purposeful.

For Orlando, every system has logic, every challenge has a strategy, and every solution starts with curiosity.

And if you’re heading to Mexico, they'll happily tell you where to find the very best food!
